Jeff Hutchinson, President and CEO
Jeff Hutchinson is President and Founder of Hutchinson Business Partners, Inc. (HBP) Jeff works directly with executive decision makers on the operations side of large businesses to align corporate IT goals, implement the appropriate solution sets and measure their results.
Jeff’s impeccable credentials include PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute and Six Sigma Black Belt Certification. He has a remarkable ability to consistently focus on solutions that meet customer needs and effectively communicate with end users and management.
As the leader of HBP, Jeff has extensive experience in project management, process improvement, performance management, infrastructure management, global deliveries and outsourcing, IT governance, application/systems development, systems consolidation, application integration, security auditing and system/application support. He is also well versed in the business practices of the financial services, healthcare and manufacturing industries.
Previously, Jeff held the position of Director of Information Systems at MedSynergies, a $13 million medical billing and claims process organization. While there, he created and implemented a successful IS strategy, established the project management office, managed the complete IS project portfolio and created a new customer integration process. Jeff also developed programs in disaster recovery, data center migrations, process digitization, CRM and also led Balanced Scorecard initiatives.
In his first major job role, Jeff worked as project manager in multiple business units for GE Consumer Finance, a leading provider of financial services around the world, which manages $95 billion in assets. Following his tenure as project manager, Jeff shifted his talents to leading e-business initiatives. Jeff consistently focused on the internal and external customer experience, while increasing customer volume and promoting self-service. Jeff spent significant time with worldwide GE CIOs to collectively improve the IT process. Jeff specialized in both system and process management projects in e-business, financial systems consolidation, LAN/WAN management, legacy application development and Six Sigma process improvement. He is also a graduate of GE’s prestigious Information Management Leadership Program (IMLP), a program that enhances the business acumen and builds project management skills by rotating assignments in different core business units.
Jeff earned a BBA from Dallas Baptist University with a major in Business Management and a minor in Information Systems. Jeff is also a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), the Project Management Institute (PMI), the International IT Service Management Forum (itSMF) and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
